Janice Munoz is an experienced attorney who has been practicing family law exclusively for the past 17 years. She worked for several small firms until opening her own practice in 2007. Janice joined Keese Hargraves LLP in 2024.
Janice received her Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Michigan, obtained a Master’s in Business Administration from the University of Texas -Dallas, and received her Juris Doctor from Loyola Law School in Los Angeles.
Janice is a former trustee of the Los Angeles County Bar and a former President of the South Bay Bar Association. She volunteers her legal expertise frequently, including acting as a Daily Settlement Officer at the Torrance Branch of the Los Angeles County Superior Court for family law matters.
Ms. Munoz has received numerous honors, including being named a Super Lawyer in 2013, 2022, 2023 and 2024. She received the Lawyer of the Year award in 2023 from the South Bay Bar Association.
Janice works hard to reduce the cost of litigation both emotionally and financially. She identifies issues that can be resolved amicably, as even resolving only one or two items will significantly reduce the time and cost of litigation.
