Mr. Keese is a family law attorney who devotes his entire practice to the zealous representation of individuals involved in a variety of family law disputes. While Mr. Keese is an experienced and aggressive family law litigator, Mr. Keese is also a kind and compassionate man who understands that a client’s best interest is often time furthered by avoiding litigation altogether along with the substantial emotional and financial costs associated therewith. It is Mr. Keese’ s ability to balance a client’s inherent interest in avoiding courtroom litigation while possessing the confidence, experience and skill required to win in court, if necessary, that allows Mr. Keese to consistently obtain positive outcomes for his clients.
In April of 2015, Mr. Keese founded the law firm of Keese Hargraves LLP, a law firm devoted entirely to the practice of family law, including issues related to paternity, child custody, child support, spousal support, enforcement issues, pre and post nuptial agreements, and all aspects of a dissolution of marriage.
Prior to founding the law firm of Keese Hargraves LLP, Mr. Keese was a partner at the law firm of Harvey and Keese, and prior to that Mr. Keese was a partner at the law firm of Jonas, Harvey, and Keese, where Mr. Keese worked alongside long time local family law attorney Robert (“Bob”) Jonas, and developed his family law skills and practice. Both the law firm of Jonas, Harvey, and Keese and the law firm of Harvey and Keese focused exclusively on the practice of family law.
Prior to commencing his family law practice with Jonas, Harvey, and Keese, Mr. Keese worked for the law firm of Girardi and Keese in Downtown Los Angeles. Girardi and Keese is a high profile law firm founded by Mr. Keese’s father, Robert (“Bob”) Keese, which specializes in large scale civil litigation. Mr. Keese worked at Girardi and Keese under his father both as a law clerk while attending Loyola Law School and as an attorney after his graduation. While at Girardi and Keese, Mr. Keese worked on various multi-million dollar cases involving extensive and complicated issues of civil litigation, which is where Mr. Keese learned to develop and refine the litigation skills which he now uses to represent his family law clients.
Mr. Keese was born and raised on the Palos Verdes Peninsula and graduated from Chadwick Preparatory School in 1997. After graduating from Chadwick, Mr. Keese attended the University of California at Santa Barbara prior to obtaining his law degree from Loyola Law School in Los Angeles.
While Keese Hargraves LLP represents family law clients throughout Los Angeles and Orange Countys, being that Keese Hargraves LLP is located on Pacific Coast Highway in the city of Torrance, Mr. Keese is happy and fortunate to continue serving the South Bay Community in which he has lived his entire life.
